“Bobo the Warrior and the Creation of Dominique.”

Once long ago, somewhere in the middle of the pacific ocean, lived a group of people that were thrown into exile from the mighty kingdom of Camelot. The creation of the universe had happened many of years before their birth, and they believe in the gods of the British isles. Noone knows why these individuals were exiled, but we do know that when they were, their mother goddess of earth, Eriu, was so heartbroken that she created a goddess so that she could help these people deal with each emotion they felt.

In order to do this, Eriu needed the assistance of a mortal. She called upon the great warrior Bobo from Camelot to help. Now Bobo was completely dedicated to Camelot and knew that in order to assist Eriu, he would too have to be exiled–this broke his delicate heart. Eriu told Bobo that she would smile on him all of his days, and that she would give him a companion to help him on his journey. She then created a monstrous whale that was both fearless in nature, and hopelessly devoted to Bobo’s success.

As Bobo prepared for his endless departure from Camelot, he killed one of the king’s sacred sheep in order to sacrifice it to Eriu. He was immediately caught and exiled from this great land and so this goddess creation story begins.

The first task of Bobo was to seek out Piere, the most talented magician in all the land. Piere, who had already been instructed by Eriu to help, was busy making the potion of entrapment when Bobo and his fearless whale arrived. This potion of entrapment was used to turn human emotion into a solid form, and it’s use as well as it’s ingredients were forbidden to ordinary humans. The penalty for anyone to stir up this potion was certain death. As soon as Piere finished making his potion, Eriu appeared before him. She told him that because he had chosen to helped her on this special mission, his life would be saved; she then waved her golden fingers in front of him so that he would forget the ingredients of this most important elixir. Eriu then gave the instructions of how to entrap emotions by using Piere as Bobo’s first contributor.

And so it came to pass that Bobo had entrapped the first of the many human emotions: confusion. As Piere wondered why the last few hours of his life had turned into a black void, Bobo held the potion over his heart and immediately the potion bubbled over. Once Bobo knew that the emotion of confusion was contained within a small glass bottle, he corked it, put it into his pouch and made his way to the temple of Eriu to await further instruction.

Once Bobo reached the temple, Eriu appeared before him and told him to seek out the broken hearted queen of Camelot. Lady Guenivere would be waiting for him just outside of Camelot. For a token of her help, Eriu promised that she would smile on her, too, for the rest of her living days.

And so it came to pass that Bobo had entrapped the second of many human emotions: agony. As Guenivere sat under a mighty oak tree weeping over her two lovers, Bobo held the potion over her heart and immediately the potion bubbled over. Once Bobo knew that the emotion of agony was contained within a small glass bottle, he corked it, put it into his pouch and made his way to the temple of Eriu to await further instruction.

Once again, Eriu appeared before him and told him to seek out the mother of a fallen warrior for she would bring him the emotion of depression. Since Bobo knew of a young maiden who had just been widowed, he opted to go to her instead. Bobo climbed on top of his mighty whale and made his way to the maiden’s swampy hidden house. What Bobo didn’t know is that anger had now replaced the depression in this maiden’s heart and so he ended up trapping an uninvited emotion for the mother goddess Eriu.

And so it came to pass that Bobo had entrapped the third of many human emotions: anger. As the young maiden lay sleeping, Bobo held the potion over her heart and immediately the potion bubbled over. Once Bobo thought that the emotion of depression was contained within a small glass bottle, he corked it, put it into his pouch and made his way to the temple of Eriu to await further instruction.

Unknowing of Bobo’s mistake, she appeared before him and told him that his final emotion to capture was that of heartache. He would have to search the land of the sea-creatures to find a young mermaid outcast who’s heart ached because she too had been thrown into exile. What she didn’t tell Bobo is that he would have to get to her by swimming through her guardians of sharks.

Riding the fearless whale, Bobo came upon these vicious sharks. The whale, which had been named Steller by Bobo, swam hard and fast through these sharks. Half way through, a shark fatally bit Stellar in the stomach, and Bobo the great warrior fell with loneliness because of the loss of his mighty friend. Knowing that his heart was filled with depression, he decided to bottle his own emotion up so that when he saw Eriu, she could make this emotion obsolete. Immediately, Bobo noticed the difference in appearance between the original bottle of “d

epression” and his own. Bobo knew that he had made a mistake and so held onto both so that the mother goddess could distinguish between the two.

And so it came to pass that Bobo had entrapped the fourth of many human emotions: depression. As the warrior Bobo buried his only companion in his watery tomb, he held the potion over his own heart and immediately the potion bubbled over. Once Bobo knew that the emotion of depression was contained within a small glass bottle, he corked it, put it into his pouch and continued on his way.

The young mermaid saw the events that took place and immediately offered the great hero anything he needed so that she could live in harmony without the guilt of her precious pets’ seemingly unwarranted murder. Bobo explained to her the purpose of his mission and told her that in her soul she holds the great emotion of heartache. The mermaid immediately laid down before him so that Bobo could entrap this emotion.

And so it came to pass that Bobo had entrapped the fifth of many human emotions: heartache. As the young mermaid lay down before him, Bobo held the potion over her heart and immediately the potion bubbled over. Once Bobo knew that the emotion of heartache was contained within a small glass bottle, he corked it, put it into his pouch and made his way to the temple of Eriu to await further instruction.

Once Eriu appeared before him, he explained to her his mistake. He then asked her to identify depression as well as tell him what emotion he had accidently trapped. Angered at first, Eriu scolded the great warrior Bobo. She then realized that the emotion of anger–the unexplained emotion–was also part of her outcasted peoples emotions and so gave Bobo a golden pennant for his initiative to seek out emotions on his own.

Bobo’s final instruction was to go to the far corner of the earth where he would find the sacred well of the divinities. Once he arrived there, he was to call out Eriu’s name three times and she would appear before him.

Bobo’s journey took so long that the by the time he reached this well, his beard had turned gray with age, and his strength windle down to practically nothing. His only hope was that he didn’t have to do anything strenuous in order to create this new goddess. Once he called out the goddess mother’s sacred name three times, she appeared before him, clothed in all gold with a warm smile upon her face. She speaks…”Thank You for you everlasting devotion my dear Bobo. Because of your persistence, the outcast people of Camelot can final achieve peace within their hearts. You final duty is to pour all of the elixirs that you have gathered into our sacred well. Stand back and await the goddess of inner peace to climb out. Once she has, she will grant you with a second chance at being a youth, as well as the acceptance back into Camelot if that is what your heart truly desires. Rest easy my child, for the goddess of inner peace will always cherish the one who has gone to great lengths in order to assist in her creation.”

Standing at the edge of the sacred well, Bobo did as he was instructed and waited for the goddess to emerge. The most beautiful and loving goddess ever created seem to just float out of the water and stood right in front of him. Kneeling, Bobo speaks with great strain. “My goddess of inner peace, I have devoted my life in order to make sure that the outcasted people of Camelot have sanction in their hearts…I have not asked for anything thus far, and I will not now. In my eyes, the payment received has already been granted when I set out on my mission. You see, my wife, as well as my parents were part of the outcasted group of Camelot and knowing that they will live with peace of mind for the rest of their days will bring more gratification than any gift that you can provide.” The newly born goddess replied, “My obedient child, your words touch my heart, but do not enter my brain. As payment for all you have endured, I will give you the best three gifts I can think of; the first will be the gift of naming a goddess…please choose this well, for I have to live with this name for eternity. The second gift I give to you is restored youth for both you and your wife…may you have many long and happy years together in one anothers arms. And the third and final gift I give to you my obedient child, is the restoration of your faithful companion, the whale. The next time you set eyes upon the spirit of this great beast, he will be in the form of your wife’s first born child. He will grow to be, once again, your faithful companion, and he will bring great honor to your family name. Now before I send you to your young, awaiting wife, please tell me the name you have chosen for me.” With a smile on his now younger face, he says, “your name, my goddess, will reflect the beauty I see standing before my now. You shall forever be named “Dominique, the goddess of inner peace.”

The next thing Bobo found himself doing was waking up to his pregnant wife lying by his side, in the land of the exiled. They proceeded to have three children and live happily ever after.

The newly formed goddess of inner peace, Dominique, smiled on the land of the exiled and put these lost souls at ease.
