The death penalty
Thousands of innocent people are killed every year in the U.S., and many murderers of the killed ones get away with a life sentence in prison or even easier punishment. The death penalty has been used since ancient times to punish cruel criminals. The death penalty is not fair in every murder s case but it is appropriate to punish a killer. Justice can not be served until the debate on capital punishment is resolved and all states have come to agree that the death penalty is the best way to stop crime completely. The death penalty should be legal in all 50 states.
Many people think that the death penalty is cruel for the murderers, however, it is also cruel for the relatives and friends of the killed ones. Executing the murderer would give them a bit of ease over the death. Nothing can bring a killed, loved one back, but knowing that the cruel murderer is going to be executed will help the relatives and friends get over the death. If the killer gets penalized with the death by the government, he won t be able to get out of prison after 20 or 30 years and redo a cruel crime. The family doesn t have to be scared walking on the street and getting killed by the same murderer that they were appealing against couple of years ago. Shaheen, a Democratic governor said: I certainly understand and appreciate this is an issue for most people that is long-held and deeply personal but I do believe there are certain crimes that are so horrible that the death penalty is appropriate.

Another reason to legalize the death penalty in all 50 states is that it would prevent many people from even doing it. Capital punishment should be enforced because a killer deserves the same thing he did to somebody else. All humans are created equal and the criminals should be prosecuted they same way they have done the crime to. Everybody deserves a fair chance of life, but killing someone, you take this chance away from that person. That s why the criminal who kills someone should be executed. The murderer doesn t care about other people lives when he shoots them; neither does he have a good conscious. According to Plato Laws, The law, like a good archer, should aim at the right measure of punishment. (p.13) That s exactly the point of death penalty, it is supposed to punish a killer the same way he took an innocent life.
Capital punishment should be legal in all 50 states because the relatives of the murdered ones need a feeling of relieve when the killer dies, because the criminal won t be able to redo their cruel acts and the killer deserves the same punishment he did to somebody else. The death penalty has been in used for centuries and it should be used in these days where every second somebody destroys another innocent life. The murderer has a bad heart and no conscious when killing someone. If you are a supporter of the death penalty, than go out there and vote to pass a law where it is legal to use the death penalty in all 50 states.
